More Hogle Zoo

 The polar bear was swimming right up close to the window - really neat to see - - sorry about the rear end of the man in the tank top!..not too pretty to see.

 Talus drinking out of the lion's mouth fountain, pretty sure I have a picture of his mother doing the same thing - and there might be one of Grandma Smith also!!

 Merry-go-round at the zoo.

 Bird show - a wild hawk came swooping down and startled the bird handlers - pretty funny.

Wendy's lunch - yummy and all ready and now time for afternoon naps!

Trip to the Zoo - August 27, 2013

 On Tuesday morning we met Aunt Em and boys at Hogle Zoo - We had a great time.

 See the baby elephant?

 Tal climbed on everything he could.

 I think the kids are looking at monkeys - lots of exhibits let you get up close and personal!

The river otters are awesome - and so close!

More Birthday Party

 Emilee had a great assortment of goodies and told the kids to help themselves!

 Sadie took four brownies and ate them all!

 Tal and Baden with the new light sabers - lots of fun in the future with these.

Tal even fought with Grammp and his cane - cute, fun four year old boy!!

Talus turns Four - Birthday Party August 25, 2013

 Sunday August 25th was Talus's fourth birthday - we had a great party at his house.

His great grandparents Pike were there, plus many uncles and aunts and cousins!

 Look at that smile when he received a light saber - actually he got two of them, perfect!  one for him and one for Baden!

 Yay for turning four years old!  He doesn't like cake very much so requested a cookie!

Sweet Georgia Fairbanks

 Sweet Georgia Mae Fairbanks joined our family on August 23, 2013 - 6 pds. 6 ounces and 19 inches of pure love and happiness!

 Big sisters Olivia and Sadie are thrilled with her and adoring her to pieces - we have to rescue her sometimes!

.the Kroebers came to take pictures of the baby - Briella looks so much bigger compared to Georgia.  Seven months makes a big difference in the first year of life.

Wild Woman

 This wild woman of the evening planted a big red lipstick kiss on Harold's cheek!  all in fun, of course!

 There was a shoot out and hanging at the town - pretty exciting and scary for the kids on the train.

 Another train robber - had a great old rifle.

Robbers on the Train

 Cowboy songs as we finished eating...pretty good.

 Men on horseback started riding around the train and shooting (blanks) at us!

 The train stopped at the old western town - and robbers got on to take our play money that was provided on each table!
