Anna's Baptism

Grandpa Smith was so pleased to be able to baptize Annabelle - her Grandpa Mortensen confirmed her.
With big brother Joel - who will be ten December 15th!
Both Smith and Mortensen grandparents, parents and sweet Annabelle in white!
Yummy food after the program - thanks to the Mortensens and Smiths for providing it.
All the grandchildren that were there - sure wish ALL 28 could have been with us!  Eleven was pretty neat.
The Smith side of the family - reminds me of the picture outside of the Tabernacle when all of you were baptized.
Anna's Baptism Doll - we had such a pretty day for all the awesome happenings.

Quilt - Children's Party - Discovery Park

Tying a baby quilt for Jessica and Brandon's little son... yes, I forgot to bring the stands from Heather's house - so we improvised!  it worked!
All the grand children at the Children's Party - well Briella went shopping with her mother - cute boys!
Making a mess - and enjoying it!  thanks so much Aunt Polly for your hard work for this party.
Discovery Park in Pleasant Grove is the best!  The boys were running all over the place and having a ball.

Thanksgiving at the Williams house

Chris and Polly had a great Thanksgiving dinner - Jessica and Brandon, Bekah, Pikes came, and Ben's Uncle Gill, and a friend from Polly's work - yummy food and tons of it - terrific company.
Tal and Baden playing with wooden cars and Shasta guarding the door!
 Eating, and eating, and eating!
Tal and Baden being knights - child sized armor - they are so fun.

Thankful Thanksgiving

We had a great young family over for dinner and FHE on the Monday of Thanksgiving week.
Three boys - they loved the marble game and the cupcake turkey!
Olivia's preschool made these cute T-tube turkeys - easy and cheap!

Armor of God with text!

Here is the words with the 'Whole Armor of God' our RS President was in the Sunday School class and she thought it was so meaningful that she had the YW and YM and the Primary come in to see it!  Lots of good discussion from the class!  Dad didn't wear it - that would have taken too much time - so we just hung it from a hanger - worked well.

Sorry about the NC pictures all in various places - I noticed 5 drafts and don't know how they got there instead of posted!!

last of NC pictures

This great willow tree is in the front yard of the new house - the kids love to climb it - especially Grace.  They are planning on building tree houses in some of the other trees in their woods.
Jason has been collecting old lanterns - really old ones.  the one on the far right belonged to his great grandfather - they found it all rusty and dirty in an old shed in Spring Dale - Jason fixed it up and it works!
the little red one on the left is an official Boy Scout lantern - from many years ago - some are over 100 years old - we used two of them outside to toast marshmallows in their ceramic fire thing.
Beautiful sunset the first night in the new house - pretty area of the world.
After church on Sunday, - the leaves were in beautiful color and it was so much warmer than Montana!

Armor of God

The Gospel Doctrine lesson today is about putting on the 'Whole Armor of God' - I found this plastic suit of armor online for half price after Halloween - fun!  I will label the parts - Shield of Faith, Helmet of Salvation, etc. in class today.  Notice the poster on the floor - the unprotected with the darts of the adversary coming at him!  don't notice the messy floor behind Dad!
