Cheadle Hall

Friday night we drove to GlenGarry Road - 17 miles east of Lewistown and attended a potluck and dance at the old Cheadle Hall.  It had been a military building originally and then a fire house, some other things and now a community center.  Some members of the church live near it and sponsored the event to help pay for electricity to keep it going.
This old store had U.S. Army stamped on top of it.
Some good country and western signing and playing - notice the old upright piano - like the one we used to have - tipped out of Bro. Biolo's truck in Green Bay.
The kitchen had this old wood burning stove - and no running water!  Water was in the milk can you can see on the floor at the right of the stove.
