These spruce grouse birds were in our front yard eating the crab apples from our tree - we are used to having mule and white tail deer in the yard eating - but I had never seen these before!
They would fly up to the tree and eat the crab apples there also.
The birds flew from our yard across the street and perched in the tree near the hospital - Stan and Polly's families will recognize this.
